Design Guidance

The DC follows a process for the review of new homes, building additions and landscaping.  While each project is unique, the general process is outlined in the Welcome letter from the DC and amplified in the Residential Design Manual.  Communicating with the Design Committee is important.  See the Fee Schedule for Design Reviews.  You may also find FAQs helpful.

 

Unless otherwise specifically stated in the Charter or the Residential Design Manual, all land disturbing activities and plans and materials for proposed improvements, additions, exterior modifications and decorations, reconstruction, landscaping, play equipment, outdoor furniture, fences, and lawn accessories and similar items visible from outside of the home are subject to prior review and approval by the Design Committee.

 

No project may begin any earthwork or construction until BOTH the Owner Construction Deposit and Builder Construction Deposit have been received by Associa Community Group and placed in escrow on behalf of the Bundoran Farm Community Association.

 

If a Builder (General Contractor) leaves a project for any reason prior to completion, the Builder and Owner Construction Deposits may be held until the project passes final inspection.  Furthermore, any new Builder who replaces a prior Builder must: (1) be a Bundoran Farm Guild Member; and (2) submit a Builder Construction Deposit Form and $10,000 damage deposit PRIOR to entering Bundoran Farm to begin work.
