Design Guidance
Purpose
All discretionary authority over architectural design and aesthetic matters within Bundoran Farm shall be vested in the Bundoran Farm Design Committee (”Design Committee” or "DC"). The DC is charged with reviewing and approving architectural design submissions pursuant to the Residential Design Manual.
Process
The DC follows a process for the review of new homes, building additions and landscaping. While each project is unique, the general process is outlined in the Welcome letter from the DC and amplified in the Residential Design Manual. Communicating with the Design Committee is important. See the Fee Schedule for Design Reviews. You may also find FAQs helpful.
Unless otherwise specifically stated in the Charter or the Residential Design Manual, all land disturbing activities and plans and materials for proposed improvements, additions, exterior modifications and decorations, reconstruction, landscaping, play equipment, outdoor furniture, fences, and lawn accessories and similar items visible from outside of the home are subject to prior review and approval.
No project may begin any earthwork or construction until BOTH the Owner Deposit and Builder Deposit have been placed in escrow.
